Welcome to our Site.  Stanley James is now available nationwide and on line. The first project the foundation will undertake is to establish a scholarship with the profits from the sale of the book.  We hope to be able to complete our first distribution of funds by Christmas of 2009.  We thank everyone who has helped promote the book. Without you, none of this would be possible. Thank You.

FaceBook Group Formed
We also have a Facebook group named “Stanley James, the novel” at http://www.facebook.com/groups.php?ref=sb#/group.php?gid=58533981210  . We currently have 36 members.  Some readers have been posting messages on some of the book review and other sites where they think there may be an interest, either as Wall Postings or as Discussion Topic. We are starting to get a little feedback. I think it is working.  If Stanley James is going to make it will be because of the promotion by the readers.

We will get the number of books sold the first week of Feb. and I will post it here.

If you are not a member of Facebook and would like to join the website is http://www.facebook.com  . As a member of Facebook you will be able to stay in touch with family and friends as well as join groups that share a common interest.

I think Stanley James is an important story - one that celebrates the triumph of love and the ability of the human spirit to transcend the cruelest of circumstances.  I have decided that the profits from the sale of the book will be used to help those in need.   Therefore I have established the Stanley James Foundation.  The website for the foundation is   www.stanleyjames.org . Information on the foundation’s operations will be posted on this site.

If you agree that this is a story that should be told, please help me.  This is the first novel that I’ve written and therefore it has only a marginal chance of success unless you who have read it help.

·
First, please recommend it to friends you think would enjoy it.  Consider giving it as a gift.
·         Suggest it for a book club or discussion group to which you belong.
·         If you blog, internet chat, or have a website, please post or mention it.  The power of the internet is greater than any publisher’s marketing operation.  A single post, if picked up and repeated, could move Stanley James to the top. A  Facebook group named                “Stanley James, the novel” has also been established at
http://www.facebook.com/groups.php?ref=sb#/group.php?gid=58533981210
·         Request it from your public library.  Some public libraries will acquire a book if as few as two patrons request it.
·         If you feel it is appropriate for school a reading list, please suggest that it be added.
·         Ask book reviewers to read and write a review of it.  Or if you know a television or radio host, (or are one) consider asking the author to be a guest to promote the book.
·         While the book is widely available from the major internet book sellers, local book stores tend to be hesitant to carry a book by an unknown author unless customers request it.  Check with them and suggest it.
·         Be creative and help in any way you feel comfortable and let us know what you did at the website.

Track the book’s success, funds raised, and monies distributed at the website  www.stanleyjames.org

I am the author and I can be reached at clydehenry@stanleyjames.org.  I hope to hear from you and I profoundly thank you for reading the story of Stanley James.

Please get in touch to offer comments and join our mailing list.
